Meta Reality Labs in Zürich is looking for exceptional Systems Engineers to help create state-of-the-art motion-capture systems to revolutionize photorealistic telepresence in virtual reality, thus enabling the ability to interact with anyone, anytime, anywhere. We have made some important advances, but it will take a team with a wide spectrum of skills to fully realize this goal. The ideal candidate is a person with demonstrated experience in rapid development of fully functioning hardware prototypes which integrate multiple electrical, mechanical, and software components.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
CAD experience (SolidWorks, NX, Inventor, Fusion 360, Rhino)
Experience in assembly of mechanical devices
Experience in assembly of electro-mechanical and optomechanical systems
Experience in working with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Design, Research, etc.
Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative design
Experience with software development, including but not limited to C, C++, or Python
Experience with server development and deployment
Experience with PCB component selection and board layout with tools including but not limited to Eagle, Altium
Experience with electrical test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, DMM/DVM, etc.
Knowledge of electronics theory, circuit design, troubleshooting, and repair
Experience working with third party vendors to develop system components and drive requirements
Description（岗位职责）
Spearhead development, construction and documentation of motion-capture systems including cameras, sensors, lighting, capture devices, and structures
Drive system level requirements for new motion-capture systems, checking in with researchers to ensure that the requirements are clearly laid out
Rapid building and testing of prototypes which integrate electrical, mechanical and software components
Collaborate with researchers and other engineers across multiple disciplines to discuss, develop and optimize designs for systems
Support research and exploration of new sensors and sub-systems to deliver the next generation of capture systems
Produce and present informal status briefings to project management
Collaborate in a team environment across engineering disciplines
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
5+ years of experience in a related role
Experience building sensing systems which include cameras, depth sensors, IMUs, microphones, etc.
