We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to come and join us in delivering the next wave of holographic experiences in an exciting new project.
The mission of the Spectre AI team is to make fundamental contributions to advancing the state of the art in aerial object detection and tracking and building an end-to-end AI pipeline using cutting-edge ML techniques and systems optimization. We conduct research by using public benchmarks as well as proprietary datasets and apply our findings on real customer’s data to deliver high-value and high-impact solutions. We are an extremely agile team that moves fast from ideas to experimentation, and to product development. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will spearhead the development of AI software for aerial object detection and tracking. You will leverage your background in C++/Python coding and your experience with cloud and distributed services technologies to enhance our AI pipeline. Your responsibilities will include setting up comprehensive CI/CD pipelines and deploying scalable services and applications. By working closely with engineers, data scientists, and product managers, you will help translate sophisticated research into viable, robust solutions. Your commitment to debugging across technology stacks and ensuring high-quality outputs will be essential in efficiently advancing projects from initial concept to final production in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications(岗位要求)
RequiredQualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years industry development experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C++, Python, or Linux
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C++ and Python with emphasis on debugging across technology stacks
- Experience working with the latestcloud and distributed services technologies (Containers, etc.)
- Experience setting up full CI/CD pipelines.
Other Requirements:
Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Candidates must have an active TS/SCI and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph). This role will require candidates to maintain the TS/SCI (with polygraph) clearance. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.
- Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customer and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Optimizing for Graphics Processing Unit (GPU).
- Demonstrated experience using Edge Machine Learning (ML)
- Effective communication skills both, written and verbal with and emphasis on cross-discipline collaboration and technical problem solving
- Experience shippinghighly scalable services, web applications, networkedapplications, or distributed systems.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
