Vortex is a newly founded studio within the Microsoft Mixed Reality group exploring product frontiers that bring together collaborative science, missions to benefit our planet, and entertainment all while pushing the forefront of technology. We are looking for Software Engineers to join our team as we define the future of Mixed Reality experiences.
In this role, you will work closely with designers, engineers, and program managers to create immersive, collaborative experiences that will revolutionize interactions between the end user and their devices. You will bring to life persistent experiences across HoloLens, VR and physical locations that lay the groundwork for the next era in interactive entertainment.

Qualifications（岗位要求）
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ industry experience in Software Engineering
- 2+ years’ experience working with the latest game engine tools and techniques.
- 2+ years’ industry experience in using C#/C++ coding background, debugging across technology stacks
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience shipping high quality 3D games or applications
- Strong cross-discipline collaboration skills
- Great communication, written and verbal
- Augmented or Virtual Reality
- Unity, Unreal or related game engines
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

- Work on the delivery of high-quality code components that will power the client and frontend experiences for our products
- Partner with industry-leading Engineers, Artists, Producers and Designers
- Ability to create rapid prototypes from concepts
- Work with state-of-the art next generation Mixed Reality hardware, sensors, and software
- Incorporate the latest AI, Machine Learning and Computer vision capabilities into our products
