The Reality Labs Technology Engineering Camera Team seeks exceptional interns with a background in Image Processing, Imaging & Color Science, Machine Learning. The primary role of this internship is to develop camera tuning optimization for AR/VR products.
Our internships are twelve (12) to twenty four (24) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD degree in the field of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Imaging Science, Color Science, Optics, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields
Prior experiences in one or more topics related to, Image processing, optimization, Human perception, color science, image quality metrics, Camera pipeline or camera tuning
Interpersonal experience: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
Experience programming with Python or Matlab
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Description（岗位职责）
Research, develop and prototype algorithms and systems for camera tuning automation.
Develop image quality metrics for human vision perception.
Implement multi-objective optimization algorithms for tuning automation.

Intent to return to degree-program after completion of the internship/co-op
A strong interest in theoretical and empirical research and for answering hard questions in research
Ability to communicate complex research in a clear, concise and actionable manner
Experience in camera ISP and architecture
Experience in human perception and psychophysics
