Meta AR/VR Job | NTI Design Engineer
Job(岗位): NTI Design Engineer
Type(岗位类型): Hardware
Citys(岗位城市): Sunnyvale, CA | Redmond, WA
Date(发布日期): 2022-9-16
Summary(岗位介绍)
As a NTI Design Engineer at Meta RL ARHW, you will create zero-to-one designs to inform the product development for AR Hardware, including integrating new technologies (NTIs) including display, optics, materials, mechanical and electrical engineering innovations for Augmented Reality (AR) platforms. You will advance the development of product vehicles from concept to validation against specifications, requirements and KPI’s through targeted studies and experimentation vehicles, advanced technology development and novel advance design exploration. You will lead system level NTI verification and analysis. As an expert in design risk mitigation you will identify areas of study that require experimentation including custom fixture requirements for proof of concept validation of said NTI’s. Your work will often be the first time that new technologies are integrated, and will inform the roadmap as well as technology tradeoffs.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Experience designing wearable products with sensors and or optical/mechanical systems
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Optics, Material Science or equivalent experience
