At Meta Reality Labs, we’re developing the future of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) and looking for a seasoned Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the Display Module Team. You’ll be a critical member of the Display Module team, identifying long term trends, driving the development of display testing solutions, removing barriers to enable your team’s success, communicating progress to all stakeholders and ensuring the big picture stays in focus while delving into the details on specific technical issues. In this role, you will work closely with internal R&D teams and cross-functional teams, external partners and vendors. Ideal team members are adaptable and resilient, eager to tackle unfamiliar situations with curiosity and tenacity, while able to inspire and influence team members at different levels of experience. Display Test TPMs must excel in many areas including communication, organization, strategic planning and technical understanding which will lead to providing customers with the best user-experience in the industry for AR/VR products.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of technical program management experience (or related role) in the semiconductor field leading complex display or other optical component/module testing programs.
Experience in developing automatic optical/electrical/mechanical/thermal test stations and related test interfaces, and test programs for display or other optical systems.
Experience in display characterizations (brightness, efficiency, dead pixel, uniformity, MTF, beam profile, etc.).
Experience building, coordinating, and maintaining schedules across multiple teams, and managing shared resources to lead successful testing solution development programs.
Experience with cross-functional programs across hardware/software/firmware integrations.
Experience with new technology/product introduction (NTI/NPI) and technology transfer best practice and tools.
Experience leading and partnering with Asian-based vendors and contract manufacturers.
Experience motivating, influencing, and resolving conflict amongst a cross-functional team.
Experience communicating technical information to non-experts, at all levels of the organization.
Description（岗位职责）
Manage programs to develop complete test solutions to support advanced display components and modules for AR/VR displays.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, firmware, testing, quality, procurement etc.) and vendors, on optical/electrical/mechanical/thermal test stations development which includes short to long term test solution planning, concept proof, and NTI to mass production execution.
Operates at different levels of ambiguity, from high-level strategic planning (technology selection, organizational structure, commercial partnerships, investment) to tactical project management (prioritization, schedule creation, milestone definition and execution, and deliverables management).
Breakdown the complexity of deep technical programs to enable a clear understanding of scope and deliverables to a wide audience of team members.
Work with research and engineering teams to map out the scope, and identify constraints, dependencies, and risks.
Identify the resources needed and work closely with team leaders to maintain full visibility of the project schedule and potential roadblocks.
Act as the main channel of communication in key formal discussions that involve technical team leaders, cross functional and external partners, and other members of the organization. Lead program milestone reviews and present project status to the executive team.
Manage projects with suppliers and partners from statement of work to final deliverables in collaboration with support functions such as Business Development, Legal, and Procurement Evaluate suppliers’ capabilities to meet product requirements, and partner with the Ops team to establish a robust and scalable test strategy.
Proactively identify technical, legal, procedural, logistical, and communication issues and drive creative solutions to fix them and manage risks.
Be able to travel internationally up to 15% of the time.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience in development of highly customized optical/electrical/mechanical/thermal test solutions for OLED/MicroLED and other types of displays.
Experience in Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) customization, fabrication, assembly, and maintenance.
Experience in display module quality control and failure analysis.
