Join us in building the Metaverse! In this unique role as Head of Marketing for Avatars, you’ll have an opportunity to develop brand strategy and GTM campaigns for Avatars, orchestrating with multiple groups at Meta; Reality Labs, Family of Apps (FOA), Events & more.

This role will report directly into the Director of Marcom, Reality Labs but work across the entire organization.

You’ll be responsible for defining the Avatars brand, establishing marketing strategies and briefs, developing multi-channel marketing plans, partnerships strategy and working with multiple Marketing and Product Marketing teams to bring the plans to life. In addition to driving adoption and usage of Avatars across the 3.6B users, this role is responsible for building our North Star ambition of bringing people close to their avatar.

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded marketer, strong brand steward, adept at developing brand strategy, experienced with full funnel consumer marketing, incorporates and leverages data and insights into strategy and briefs to deliver attributable marketing programs. This candidate must have exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to provide clear direction for multiple teams executing against a larger marketing plan and brand vision.

This is a new team and we will also be building our operational model while we execute. Ideal candidates will know how to execute in ambiguity, seek access to insights and information autonomously and help build while we continue to support consumer-facing marketing.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

BA/BS Degree or equivalent industry experience

12+ years of marketing experience or Master’s Degree and 8+ years of marketing experience

Experience composing clear and compelling briefs

Experience building and navigating cross-matrix organizations

Experience managing multi-channel campaigns in partnership with product marketing, creative and production teams

Expertise in the various marketing channels with a basic understanding of channel function and formats. Demonstrates an understanding of marketing and sales funnels and how different tactics and channels drive impact across the entirety of a prospect and customer journey

Experience using data and insights to inform decisions and briefs

Experience managing external partners and agencies

Description(岗位职责)

Develop brand foundations for Avatars in collaboration with Product Marketing and CFX teams.

Manage the development and execution of the marketing strategy for Avatars across multiple audiences.

Plan full year Go-To-Market plans, identifying bespoke Avatars campaigns as well as opportunities across Family of Apps and Meta teams.

Brand Steward, partnering with the larger Meta organization to bring to life one vision for Avatars across Virtual Reality and Family of Apps.

Distill and craft inspiring creative briefs from consumer and cultural insights.

People first champion with representation and inclusion at the forefront of all that we do.

Challenge the status quo and elevate briefs from functional to emotional or cultural challenges.

Build a diverse and inclusive environment across the team, model inclusive behaviors and holds others accountable for ensuring the same.
