You are a talented Animator looking to build the next generation of games in VR. You have multiple years of experience animating for game engines and love to create beautiful and fun animations for a live-service, online game. You are a strong communicator who loves the iterative, creative, and technical process. You desire to understand a product holistically. You make art and technical trade-offs that align with business objectives, and possess wily and unconventional thinking.
You are eager to roll up your sleeves to make contributions outside of your specialty.
Our ideal candidate will have experience breathing life into 3rd person player-controlled characters as well as realizing NPC movement, performances, and behaviors.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a game animator.
Experience working independently, problem solving on the fly, and collaborating across disciplines in a small, fast-moving team.
Experience collaborating and taking direction from creative leads and the narrative team.
Experience with human and creature keyframed animation and camera animation.
Proficiency with Maya or 3ds Max.
Experience in modeling, rigging, and skinning models for video games.
Foundational animation skills, such as timing, weight, and human anatomy, principles of body movement, overshoot, follow-through, squash and stretch, and other facets of both 2D and 3D animation.
A comprehensive digital portfolio showing work from completed projects.
Experience with Unity or related game engines such as Unreal.
Experience with video game development and the art-creation process.
Description(岗位职责)
Produce high quality animations under the supervision of our Art Directors.
Work closely with Project Directors and the Art team to ensure the highest quality assets are delivered.
Mentor and motivate other artists.
Help define, develop, and maintain animation pipelines and tools.
Properly skin characters to rigs.
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Strong background in AR or VR.
Experience using Source Control, particularly Perforce and/or Git.
Experience helping develop real time pipelines and tools.
Python or similar coding skills.
Experience with rig creation, motion capture recording and processing.
Experience managing, mentoring and growing other artists.
