The Cameras and Sensors Group has the responsibility for taking breakthroughs in core technology and delivering them to market at scale. The Cameras and Sensors Group is looking for a Camera Systems Engineering Intern who will participate in the development of next generation RGB camera technologies for AR/VR applications.
Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long, and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelors or Masters degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or related technical discipline
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Academic and/or industry experience in camera module design, optical simulation, metrology, testing and lab work to verify imaging component, assembly and system level performance
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Experience with electrical circuit design and test
Description（岗位职责）
Explore and research next generation camera technologies for AR/VR products
Work closely with XFN team members on image simulation, design of experiments, and image quality analysis including building up the test automation.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op
Experience with camera lens design and characterization
Experience with image sensor design, characterization and tuning
Experience with color science and image quality evaluation
Experience with ISP tuning
Experience with camera module manufacturing processes and production testing
Experience with RRB camera design and manufacturing
Experience with mechanical tolerance analysis
Experience image processing in Python or Matlab
