The Devices Finance team is at the forefront of Microsoft’s strategic mission in Devices. Microsoft Devices manages exciting products including Xbox, HoloLens and various Accessories. The environment is dynamic and innovative where the finance team partners with Hardware Development, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations teams to achieve and define the financial goals.
The Devices Finance team is looking for a finance professional with drive and enthusiasm to take on a high visibility and high impact role supporting the HoloLens and PC Accessories business. This role will be responsible for all FP&A activities and financial transactions for the Operations organization, including hardware product manufacturing, business planning and decision support.
This role will work with Business and Finance teams and will be responsible for Commercial HoloLens/Mixed Reality End to End Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) from inception to post launch.

Qualifications（岗位要求）
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 4+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
- OR Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 2+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
- OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Great collaboration, teamwork, and business partnership: Extremely important for the person in role to possess great collaboration skills and able to build network.
- A track record of influencing the business through initiative and in bringing financial analysis and insight.
- Financial analysis & modeling skills. This role requires a hands-on approach, and the individual must be comfortable in rolling up their sleeves and diving in.
- Proficiency in excel and use of pivot tables, data tables, and modeling techniques is a must
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment: Devices Finance is a very dynamic team, and this individual must be able to work in an environment where everything is not fully defined. The ability to work in fluid setting and provide clarity, motivate others, and deliver results.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), including an ability to communicate effectively with senior management.

Description（岗位职责）
- Oversight and responsibility for financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for COGS Supporting sustaining products and next generation business cases, specifically HoloLens and PC Accessories.
- Ongoing analysis and business group support associated with COGS including cost management, value added analysis, scenario modeling, and new/emerging business models.
- Own business cases of next generation devices, to help influence design and cost effectiveness of product.
- Partner with Product Development, NPI, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to identify and solve business problems and issues.
- Improving efficiency and effectiveness of finance activities and reporting through automation and detailed analytics.
- Drive improved business insight into the business, potentially including development and reporting of KPI’s and performance metrics and scorecards, to drive organizational accountability and performance.
Prioritize
- Performs analysis and research of present and future financial performance, financial plans (e.g., expected returns, resource allocation, pricing, investment opportunities) and economic transactions (e.g., customer deals, commercial partnerships, acquisitions, etc.).
- Assists in the execution of annual business planning and forecasting process. Completes analysis, modeling, and research to support preliminary and adjusted forecast cycles. Partners and solicits insight from business and commercial stakeholders.
- Provides business leader support and actionable insights during financial close periods. Reviews recurring financial reporting and presentations. Identifies trends and formulates action plans. Determines financial results (e.g., profitability, COGS, etc.) and conducts variance analyses. Identifies variance causes and solutions. Collaborates to ensure execution of plans and accountability for results.
Partnership
- Provides business insights and recommendations to peers and stakeholders to achieve cost and profitability goals and drive shareholder return, including Resource allocation, cost optimization, trends, and future requirements. Manages and executes processes through engagement with internal stakeholders. Collaborates with business leaders to define action plans for financial and business analysis findings.
- Applies advanced understanding of Microsoft Finance and business (e.g., key drivers and business partner work context) to multiple situations to evaluate results and analysis. Develops and manages strategies to proactively mitigate, or reactively address, potential adverse effects of macroeconomic and/or geopolitical risks. Maintains working knowledge of Microsoft financial systems, policies, and processes to evaluate potential impacts of changes, and drives improvements in efficiency and accuracy.
- Contributes to new and unconventional methods and approaches to data collection, analysis, interpretation, and financial models. Provides advice and direction to teammates and peers on data management and operations.
- Leads efforts to leverage technology to increase productivity (e.g., report optimization) and to ensure accurate conclusions.
- Integrates varied data sources and assimilates the information into a comprehensive, clear narrative. Communicates results in a compelling and understandable message. Articulates understanding and awareness of business partner situation.
Protect
- Ensures compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring accuracy of financial documents and business processes. Drives corrective measures. Consults with business partners on sharing financial information, approved instruments and processes, and consistency with corporate policies. Collaborates with Compliance groups to ensure the team is current on company policies and procedures.
