The Mixed Reality Systems Engineering team has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Principal Software Engineer with experience in SW design, implementation and shipping high quality software.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of relevant software design and development experience
- 6+ years of relevant experience working with embedded systems
- This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services governed by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Due to contractual limitations and ITAR obligations associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- A BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- Embedded Security Engineering
- Writing performance critical code in C/C++
- Windows or Linux device driver development
- Hardware bring up and Manufacturing
- BSP and OS image creation
- DSP/FPGA/firmware development
- GPU programming
- Wireless protocols
There are plenty of other skills that aren’t required, but you’ll find useful in this role. Let us know if you have experience with:
- Experience with bringing up new hardware, embedded operating systems, bootloaders, drivers, etc.
- Experience with debugging tools, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and tracers to debug low level hardware and software issues
- Experience writing technical documentation and communicating with a cross discipline team spanning software, hardware, architecture both internally and externally
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. - Design and implement low level drivers and subsystems for Mixed Reality products.
- Help define the next generation of Mixed Reality products.
- Work in close partnership with a team of cross discipline peers including design, hardware, PM, and Quality Engineering for sustained long term success of Mixed Reality products.
- Provide mentoring and leadership to engineers on the team.
