Horizon Product Group at Meta is building a social User Generated Content (UCG) platform where people can find people, places, and things they care about — a Metaverse without constraints where people have freedom of identity and expression, and can experience living virtual worlds that could not exist in the real world. Our vision is to build a global-scale UGC platform where the world’s creators, performers, entrepreneurs and more will be able to create their place, and enable their communities to connect, engage and play in all kinds of ways.
This TPM role will lead technical execution for the Experiences org within Horizon, which focuses on building great 1P and 2P experiences and social hubs across VR and 2D devices.
The TPM will partner with several multi-disciplinary teams to drive planning, execution and delivery of features. TPM’s constantly strive for and model executional excellence, bring clarity to ambiguity, and act as simplifiers and enablers. TPM’s deliver impact through design, implementation, and ownership of processes, tools and mechanisms that help our teams succeed.
The ideal Horizon TPM candidate is an experienced program execution leader with deep technical acumen and capacity quickly to learn new areas of product and technology. Horizon is growing and evolving fast, and a successful TPM will know how to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty, constantly seek and create clarity, and drive change with grace and resilience.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
8+ years of program management experience in software development
Proven track record leading and shipping multiple complex software programs or features simultaneously
Solid knowledge of software development best practices and frameworks
Expertise in building and managing relationships across teams, disciplines, and stakeholders
Proven experience to lead, influence, and inspire without authority
Description（岗位职责）
Lead cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams across all phases of the software development lifecycle
Partner with product, engineering, research, design, art, data, and QA and to drive implementation of user features and experiences from conception to launch
Design and implement best practices and processes that enable teams to move quickly and efficiently
Continuously create and maintain clarity in program roadmaps, status, risks, and mitigation plans
Lead across program verticals to identify constraints, dependencies, and issues
Help create and foster a team culture of executional excellence and high product quality
Capture and analyze signals across multiple programs and translate them into actions
