Summary（岗位介绍）
The Applied Materials team is looking for a Product Technical Lead who can interface with device development teams to identify opportunities where material subject matter experts can contribute as well as identifying opportunities for future development programs. Our ideal candidate is a material generalist who has experience in one or more material disciplines, experience working with hardware teams to ship electronic devices and excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a complex and operationally challenging role that will afford the opportunity to work with multiple material technologies and devices that have the potential to change the way humans communicate and interact regardless of distance.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS in material science, chemistry, mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
5+ years of technical leadership experience.
Knowledge in at least one area of metals, plastics, ceramics, adhesives, coatings, or composites.
Experience with high tech and/or consumer electronics hardware.
Experience driving the execution of multiple material technology focused projects.
Experience in defining and managing project budgets, resources and milestones.
Proven experience leading cross-functional meetings, project reviews and present project updates.
Experience managing relationships with domestic and international vendors.
Experience thriving in an extremely dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Proven curiosity for science and technology.
Description（岗位职责）
Partner with technical program management, product development engineering, manufacturing, operations and other engineering groups to facilitate effective collaboration between those teams and the Applied Materials team.
Understand technical architectures, long term and short term planning, hardware road mapping, and other issues to create comprehensive plans for prioritizing technical challenges and projects.
Represent the Applied Materials team in the early stages of product definition and planning meetings with PMs and system product architects, along with technology architects, to identify and scope new technology needs.
Work with product development engineers and device PMs to identify opportunities for Applied Materials subject matter experts to contribute and make impact on programs.
Work with other Product Technology Leads to ensure alignment and maximize impact across multiple device programs.
Work with multiple subject matter experts in the team to understand their project portfolios and potential device impact.
Work with DRIs in the Applied Materials team and the product teams to set and track project schedule and budget.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Graduate degree (MS or Ph.D.) or equivalent.
Experience managing small teams.
