We are currently seeking a TPM on the Optics and Display team who will work with a world-class group of researchers and engineers. This is a full-time position and requires a degree in display, optical engineering, electrical engineering, semiconductor, physics, material science or similar. Successful candidates must be familiar with micro display hardware and software and relatively versed in VR or AR display technology trends. We’re also looking for a candidate who is resilient in pursuing solutions for complex and challenging problems. A successful candidate will need to be comfortable working in a dynamic cross-functional team, be able to deal with a high degree of ambiguity, and be flexible to cope with frequent changes.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

BS in Display, Electronics, Semiconductor, Optics, Physics, or Material Science, and 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager.

Experience with driving programs in a research environment.

Project management, leadership, dependency management and cross-group technical collaboration experience.

Experience managing external technical engagements.

Knowledge of display development including manufacturing processes.

Organizational experience, including managing cross-team budgets and headcount.

Description(岗位职责)

Work with research, engineering, business and product teams to define roadmaps, program milestones and deliverables.

Develop project schedules based on requirements, technical challenges, available resources, and business needs.

Identify resources needed and work closely with the team leads to maintain full visibility of multiple projects, ensuring resource gaps are addressed efficiently.

Proactively identify technical, legal, procedural, logistical, and communication issues and drive creative solutions to fix them and manage both technical and programmatic risks.

Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and research development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment.

Engage with cross-functional and external teams to identify constraints, dependencies, and risks/issues.

Coordinate communication between internal and external teams and partners. Report program status, issues, challenges and help needed with all stakeholders.

Building teams, development processes, best practices, and supporting tools to support a growing organization.

Travel up to 30% of the time.

Additional Requirements(额外要求)

Graduate degree in an engineering or scientific field related to display.

Experience in project management on optics and display development especially in the consumer market.

Multi-team/geographically dispersed team management experience.

Deep understanding in micro display and associated silicon, electronics, optics, software, optimization algorithm, materials, process development & process improvement, and reliability engineering.

Knowledge of polarization optics and liquid crystal properties.

Track record of transitioning research or emerging technologies into consumer products.

Experience working with a cross-disciplinary team of researchers, software engineers and hardware engineers.
