The Reality Labs (RL) mission is to build tools that help people feel connected, anytime, anywhere. RL brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software, and content. We have a clear mandate to ship products at scale. Our products today cover VR (Quest, Horizon), AR (Ray-Ban Stories, Spark) and Home & Work (Portal, Workplace) and we continue to develop other innovations across hardware, software and social presence as we work on the foundational elements of our metaverse vision.

The Brand Design team at Reality Labs solves brand problems for our products using design as a strategic tool and drives the design evolution of our brands. The main focus areas for the team are 1) bringing Brand Strategies to life, 2) building scalable design systems, platforms and programs and 3) designing consistent, meaningful, and innovative brand experiences for marketing, digital, in-product, spatial, events, and retail & packaging.

We are currently seeking a Design Lead for our team to create groundbreaking, culture-defining work across our digital channels for Reality Labs brands.

In this role, you will work with creative directors, designers, copywriters, producers, researchers, product marketers and agency partners to further develop our digital experience, lead execution across web & e-commerce, and to ensure a consistent and high-quality visual language with other touch points in digital space as well. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital, and be a highly strategic thinker with a proven track record for leading efforts to execute across our channels.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

10+ years of experience at an agency or in-house concepting and creating for brands

Experience performing digital brand review and design audits for current state assessment in order to identify areas of opportunity

Experience with product storytelling and creative strategy

Experience creating digital platforms and products from brief to delivery and beyond

Experience leading creative work and overseeing creative teams and/or agencies

Experience working in cross-functional teams

Description(岗位职责)

Inspire colleagues to originate creative ideas that conceptualize solutions for Reality Labs’ brands across all digital surfaces

Concept, design and bring to life an innovative perspective across all mediums including

digital, e-commerce, 3D, photo, and video

Present ideas in a clear and focused way that builds consensus within the team, demonstrating how design thinking can be used to tell a story on behalf of a brand and within a product

Successfully manage multiple agency partners and external studios to ensure projects are creatively delivered to the highest standards

Inspire, enable, energize, and manage designers, freelancers, and agency partners

Elevate and raise the quality of craft and creative strategy

Advocate for upstream design thinking, solutions and consistency

Work seamlessly across organizational structures, partnering with Marketing, Product and Business leadership to develop holistic brand systems that create impact at scale

Additional Requirements(额外要求)

Experience with projects that involve AR, VR, 3D, or Motion

Experience in lifestyle, technology or other culture-defining brands

Experience creating prototypes to pitch work

Experience with emerging technology

Experience working in a research driven environment
