Summary（岗位介绍）
As a Hardware Engineering Manager you will be joining the Display & Optics team that is responsible for the design, development, and productization of technologies necessary for AR and VR products. You will lead a team developing multidisciplinary hardware that is critical to the success of our products.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
5+ years people management experience in consumer electronics product development.
Interest in closing the loop on designs through testing and validation.
Communication and collaboration skills.
Experience bringing new technologies from concept to product release.
BS degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related technical discipline with 7+ years of experience, or advanced degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline with 4+ years of experience.
Description（岗位职责）
Manage, build and mentor a world-class optical and system engineering team for new technology development.
Lead the team in developing new technologies, prototypes and drive the technology and product roadmap with a focus on bringing the new technologies to market. The area involves an active sensing device that requires design and development of new optical components that push the state-of-the-art in performance metrics and works in concert with high performance detection algorithms.
Collaborate with cross functional teams on the integration of optical components into modules and consumer hardware products.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to align resources, priorities and drive work across a matrix organization.
Champion engineering excellence and a data driven culture.
Champion a healthy and inclusive team culture.
Drive clarity and focus for the project and the team by clearly defining goals and metrics of success and aligning with the team and cross functional partners.
Ideal candidate is someone who can dive deep in the details while also operating at a higher level of abstraction, connecting the dots, understanding and articulating the strategy.
Up to 25% domestic and international travel required.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Extensive experience and deep knowledge on optics, sensors, and/or system design.
Experience with image quality algorithms and the co-development of hardware and software.
Direct experience successfully leading several product release cycles in consumer electronics.
