Summary（岗位介绍）
As a Wireless Subsystem Technical Program Manager in AR/VR/Portal/Wearables, you will lead multidisciplinary programs through the NPI process to develop the next generation of custom and semi-custom modules/subsystems to drive our industry-leading consumer products. You will establish requirements with internal and external customers, manage program schedules, identify risks and associated mitigation plans, and clearly communicate to program stakeholders. We look for program managers who are natural motivators, cross-functional relationship builders, and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced innovative environment. As part of the Wireless Subsystem TPM team, you will drive and track the investigation, definition and delivery of next generation wireless modules, including but not limited to Antenna and/or subsystems in either HW or FW/driver integration.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
3+ years experience working as a Technical/Engineering program manager for consumer electronics or 2+ years as either wireless engineering manager or 6+ years as wireless engineer experience.
2+ years experience working on Wireless HW modules, antennas, or subsystems firmware/driver. Any other SW development experience (C#, Java, Python, etc.).
Understanding of phase gate approach to technology development projects.
Experience with component and module qualification, validation and characterization processes.
Knowledge of program and issue tracking.
Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams and projects.
Description（岗位职责）
Create development, delivery, and qualification schedules based on system requirements, technical challenges, lead-times and business needs.
Manage communication within, and between, internal engineering and external vendor management.
Assist engineering and sourcing teams with supplier evaluation, SOW, selection and manage MIH for each build.
Work with teams to set milestones, communicate program statuses, and identify and/or address potential risks.
Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and technology development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment to ensure on time delivery.
Manage delivery of samples and mass production parts for the different builds.
Organize required meetings with vendors as needed, either by face to face or online.
Drive engineering deliverables, including specifications, design options, and test plans.
Ensure program documents are complete, current and available for staff and/or leadership review.
Contribute to resource planning to ensure program success.
Up to 10% travel.
