Summary（岗位介绍）
As a Process Engineer in the Waveguide Team, you’ll ensure the delivery of world class product and prototype quality for waveguide component hardware and product platforms for near-eye display. In this role, you will be embedded in the Waveguide Packaging Development engineering team and be responsible for maintaining and establishing singulation technologies covering a range of materials to meet current and new prototype fabrication needs.
You will be working with the R&D team to transition state-of-the-art design concepts to prototype parts by the creation of drawings, tooling, and new dicing recipes. You will also be developing and defining new dicing processes and tools for production and establishing process baselines via standard statistical control methodologies.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Material, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing or Systems Engineering, etc., or equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years of experience in processes and/or tooling for singulation processes
Demonstrated expertise with CAD, DXF and GDS file creation and editing
Experience working with vendors or development partners on singulation projects
Description（岗位职责）
Operate and oversee the operation of laser machining equipment to cut and dice brittle and polymeric materials on state-of-the-art singulation tooling, including establishing and maintaining tool capabilities, reporting on status via MES, and tracking/prioritization of work output
Create and interpret all data files needed to successfully execute dicing jobs including DXF, GDS, and other CAD/CNC file formats (strong CAD experience preferred)
Conduct, analyze and report on dimensional metrology of singulated parts using standard characterization equipment such as CMM, OMM, and in-line sensor data
Contribute to engineering efforts to solve complex prototyping challenges by the development of new manual and scalable automated singulation production equipment and processes
Collaborate effectively with vendors and internal cross-functional partners to advance singulation technologies to meet productization needs
Execute structured problem solving strategies to record, analyze and solve problems in singulation and other related assembly processes, materials and tooling
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Clean room work experience (100+ hours)
Familiarity with metrology tools: 2-D and 3-D microscopes, Optical Measurement Machines, mechanical testing equipment
Familiarity with GD&T standards
Experience with and around robotic material handling systems, including tool software programming and machine interface modification
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), including tool and process tracking and data entry
Skill in statistical analysis of raw data using commercial packages like JMP, with knowledge to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on limited information
Experience with contributing to strategic roadmapping for processes, tools, and capability growth and development
Experience with tool requirements setting, installation, FATs, SATs
Experience creating, tracking and organizing documentation, experimental results, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work-in-progress (WIP) logs
