At Meta Reality Labs (FRL), our goal is to explore, innovate and design novel interfaces and hardware subsystems for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. You will be part of a team that will enable the end-to-end process development of display optic solutions for FRL Hardware products. You will be part of a team that will engage with external partners to identify, develop, and deliver full process capabilities that are critical in the overall flow that is needed to produce innovate products. Success will depend on close collaboration with both internal and external partners.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
MS in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related technical discipline with 7+ years industry experience
Demonstrates the experience to simplify complex situations and drive focus on core activity
Knowledge of statistical methods and experience in data analysis with tools such as MATLAB, JMP
Description（岗位职责）
Enable external partner to design and develop a manufacturing solution that can support our product development capabilities and requirements
Engage with external partners to direct and align all engineering workstreams into a cohesive integrated plan to deliver a total process flow to support critical product schedules and development needs
Drive alignment on process requirements in response to design and product changes while maintaining development schedules and goals
Develop methodology on establishing new coating processes to meet coating design requirements and support the transfer to the development process line
Work closely with external partners to transfer design into manufacturing and Investigate root cause of failure/defects and implement corrective actions to support production
Communicate effectively within the development teams, with internal stakeholders, and with outside vendors
Ability to work and travel domestically and internationally about 30%
Experience leading qualification activity with cross functional teams for end-to-end process
Experience processing development and integration of optical components and modules such as cameras, sensors or display
Experience ramping new processes and technologies from development to scale
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience with display and optics development
Understanding of material science and hands-on experience with vacuum systems, evaporation, and sputtering technology
Understand core methods to establish process baselines on complex process flows
Demonstrated skills with designed of experiments and related statistical data analysis to drive process capability for both chemical and mechanical processes
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills that support effective decision making
Proven hardware Bug Ownership and Tracking
