Business Product Strategy’s mission is to ensure Facebook (now Meta) makes the best strategic product decisions. We enable Meta to most effectively allocate resources, both within and across product portfolios, by providing a holistic understanding of our products, markets, and relative advantages. We then translate this into actionable recommendations for our long-term product roadmaps, and influence product and engineering leaders to maximize impact for Meta. We are part of Product and more often than not sit on the leadership team for product areas we support.
This specific role will provide support for teams across Reality Labs (RL). RL today includes Meta’s efforts on the Metaverse, Virtual Reality (VR) including Oculus, and Augmented Reality (AR). A common priority across all these teams is to make the Metaverse a success, and Business Product Strategy will support RL in making the right strategic decisions to support this cause, amongst others. Such strategic decisions can include recommendations from product focus/reprioritizations, enhancements, monetization, cross-team organization of teams to solve for common goals, and M&A recommendations. This role is highly cross-functional and requires influencing executive leadership across Meta.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Bachelor degree
8+ years of experience in business strategy (e.g., management consulting), tech investing and/or Product Management
Understanding of the Tech industry including players, trends, and drivers of success
Quantitative, analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with business acumen
Experience problem-solving individually and in a group setting
Experience with shifting priorities, while maintaining organization and control
Proven track-record of organizing, developing, and executing strategy projects that deliver results
Experience partnering with cross-functional leadership to turn insights into actions
Experience working in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment

Work with cross-functional partners (product, data science, engineering, user research) to surface opportunities and threats, outline data-driven strategic decisions, and frame actionable product recommendations

2+ years experience in Augmented Reality or Virtual Reality, gaming, or blockchain/cryptocurrencies/web3
Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PhD, JD)
Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., engineering)
