Our Technology Engineering for Devices (TED) team explores, develops, and delivers new cutting-edge technologies that serve as the foundation of current and future AR/VR products. From mixed reality and human interaction to natural inputs and beyond, TED is focused on transforming new technologies from early concept to product by iterating, prototyping, and realizing the human value and new experiences these technologies enable.
The Depth HW team within TED develops high-performance depth solutions for FRL’s AR/VR products. This multidisciplinary group brings research to life by realizing state-of-the-art custom modules including mixed-signal ASICs, lasers, optics, and firmware. The Depth HW team is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for end-to-end ownership of R&D and production electrical engineering from early concepts to mass production.
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer who has a passion for working across disciplines to transform research technologies into physical solutions. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, simulation, implementation, and debug of mixed-signal ASICs, board-level circuitry, and systems used in our solutions. You will experiment with and develop novel solutions to complex electronics problems, working closely with cross functional partners combining electronics, optics, mechanicals, and firmware.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Master’s degree in electronic hardware development, analog/mixed signal circuit design and/or related field.
Experience with system-level design including circuit design, PCB layout, system bring-up, integration, and debug.
Experience with low-power analog circuit design, DC/DC converters, power management methods, A/D and D/A conversion.
Experience with schematic capture and PCB design using Cadence OrCAD/Allegro or equivalent.
Experience validating/verifying EE function blocks including Custom ASICs.
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Interpersonal experience: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration.

Responsible for the design, simulation, implementation, and debug of mixed-signal ASICs, board-level circuitry, and systems used in our solutions.
Experiment with and develop novel solutions to complex electronics problems.
Working closely with cross functional partners combining electronics, optics, mechanicals, and firmware.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD degree in electronic hardware development, analog/mixed signal circuit design and/or related field.
Experience with cameras and optical systems.
Experience with processor architecture, analog/digital circuit design and various communications protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI, I2S, etc.
Experience developing modules or systems in high volume consumer electronic products.
Experience partnering with software teams to define and implement firmware, drivers, and algorithms.
Experience working with JDM, ODM, CM partners.
