Reality Labs (RL) team focuses on delivering Meta’s vision through Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR). As a PLM Manager at Reality Labs, you will take on a critical role in bringing augmented and virtual reality to our customers. You will work side-by-side with engineering and business teams that are leading innovation in this exciting new product category.
We are looking for a manager to support a team of PLM Analysts to define and implement PLM best practices and to document RL’s product record through all product development phases. You must be flexible, responsive, hands-on and able to manage competing demands. This role will also be responsible to work in Meta project teams as an RL representative to support RL needs.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
3+ years experience managing a PLM team in a fast-paced consumer electronics company
5+ years hands on experience managing item creation and engineering change management, through the product lifecycle and various types of product offerings
Experience in handling priorities and collaborating cross functionally
Experience building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams in multiple locations
Description(岗位职责)
Manage PLM Analysts and help them develop their careers, assigning them to projects tailored to their skill levels, long-term skill development and work styles
Set clear expectations and create a positive work environment based on accountability, in collaboration with cross functional teams
As a Subject Matter Expert, mentor team members on best practices
Champion Product Lifecycle Management and operational excellence, establishing metrics and processes for regular assessment and improvement
Engaging cross-functionally with product team leaders and engineers to proactively alleviate project bottlenecks
Support product projects from pre-concept through obsolescence
Advise on best practices for documenting changes to new and existing products, best practices for engineering CAD data transformation to PLM systems
Participate in the development and continuous improvement of PLM processes and tools
End user support and problem resolution
Up to 15% travel
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Experience with Oracle Agile PLM
Teamcenter PLM experience managing PLM deliverables
Cadence experience managing PLM deliverables
Familiar with Quality, Requirements Management or Project Management modules available in PLM products
Experience with Oracle Cloud (PD, PDH/PIM, Fusion)
CMII certification
