Facebook Reality Labs Display and Optics Group is seeking a capable and dynamic semiconductor equipment engineer to join our Pilot Cleanroom facility. Your job will be to support a world-class operation tasked with developing and scaling segment defining components. You will be responsible for executional aspects of a large Pilot facility ensuring the teams have the resources and support available to meet product milestone objectives and support product development. The ideal candidate will have direct experience on wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment, adhering to all company safety protocols. You will be an individual contributor reporting to an equipment engineering process team. This position requires wearing a respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE) for possible work handling hazardous materials. Candidate must adhere to all company safety protocols. This position requires supporting equipment maintenance.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Minimum of 5 years experience working in a semiconductor related fab within an Equipment Engineering role
Proven understanding of high vacuum theory and equipment maintenance
BS degree in engineering, physics or chemistry, or equivalent technical education
The ideal candidate will have direct experience on wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment
Demonstrated proficiency in collaboration with others to make improvements through experimentation and drive toward standardized methods
Mechanical, electronic, and troubleshooting skills
Solid workplace soft skills
Proven communication skills with fluency in English
Candidate experience navigating and operating computers
Basic familiarity of MS Office programs
Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
Hands-on participation and sense of ownership
Experience working under minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment
Experience with chemical handing & disposal protocols
Description（岗位职责）
Ownership of a specific wafer fab sector for sustainment of daily operations and development activity
Responsible for performing scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance on wafer fabrication equipment
Use metrics (Availability, MTBF, Variability) to drive improvement activities on hardware, maintenance, and overall operation
Work closely with team leadership to prioritize job tasks
Work closely with leadership, peers, operators, and engineering teams to deeply understand root cause of failure and use those learnings to continuously improve equipment availability to meet production goals
Work with vendors, field service and technical representatives, which may include attendance in classes, seminars, vendor training
Attend shift pass-down meetings and communicate daily activities
Train and support process engineers and technicians
Document all work performed on equipment
