Reality Labs (formerly Facebook Reality Labs) focuses on delivering Meta’s vision through Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). The compute performance and power efficiency requirements of Virtual and Augmented Reality require custom silicon. The Silicon team is driving the state of the art forward with breakthrough work in computer vision, machine learning, mixed reality, graphics, displays, sensors, and new ways to map the human body. Our chips will enable AR and VR devices where our real and virtual world will mix and match throughout the day.
We believe the only way to achieve our goals is to look at the entire stack, from transistors, through architecture, to firmware, and algorithms. The successful candidate will be part of a team that includes algorithm, user experience, software, firmware and silicon experts.
Reality Labs is seeking a software intern to be part of its FRL FAST Infrastructure and CAD team. We manage our ASIC design environment, develop methodologies and craft tools to streamline the design/verification of our unique Custom SOC and IP designs. This position offers the opportunity to have real impact in a dynamic, technology-focused company building AR/VR products. You will be in charge of helping develop flows and frameworks used by our design community to execute various design activities (design flow steps, sanity checks, regression, etc.).
Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience in RTL design/verification tools (VCS or equivalent simulation tools) and computer/network architecture
Experience in source control systems (Perforce/Git) and continuous integration systems (Jenkins)
Understanding of Software Development principles (Continuous development, Unit Tests, System Tests)
Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship
Description（岗位职责）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience working in the Linux environments, with programming skills in scripting languages like Unix Shell, Python, etc.
Familiar with DevOps concepts (Continuous Integration, Containers, etc.)
Experience debugging
Interpersonal experience: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
