The Technology Transfer Leader supports the activities of the Display and Optics Technology Team during the development and transfer of a specific project related to establishing mass production readiness. The role leads the transfer and partnerships activity associated with achieving the product’s defined milestones. He/she develops, in collaboration with Technology Leads, TPMs, GSM and Ops stakeholders a suitable technical Engagement Model that enables effective engagement and alignment of activity to meet critical technical milestones and project goals.
The Technology Transfer Leader’s role is to lead the technical engagement with selected suppliers. This role is responsible for enabling the engagement model between the suppliers technical teams and FB internal engineering teams to plan and to deliver a complete process that meets the development schedules and ensures the delivered solutions meet the technical specifications and design requirements, required to hand off processes to the manufacturing organization.

Understanding of Optical and Mechanical technologies.
Problem-solving skills addressing multi-part problems with high levels of uncertainty across multiple groups and companies.
Experience in delivering complex multi-faceted projects that combine objectives in technology development, influencing people and align to program schedules.
Interpersonal skills including experience working with different kinds of communities with different norms and communication styles.
Experienced in delivering work through people not line managed such as vendors or partners.
Experience defining and implementing business processes and tools within an organization.
Experience communicating with and influencing people without authority across a large organization.
Description(岗位职责)
Defines, develops and communicates strategy for assuring Display and Optics insights and learnings are transferred to the strategic supplier to support their learning ramp and engagement.
Development process qualification plan, identifying deliverables and dependencies.
Establish and sustain a cross team engagement model that works for all parties to provide the right level of involvement and oversight.
Be the technical sponsor for supplier’s decision making on equipment, tooling and fixture sub suppliers.
Resolve technical roadblocks through engaging correct contacts or drive internal alignment on resolution to maintain project schedule/milestones.
Identify resource gaps that are impacting progress or are limiting other activities that are impacted.
Manage onsite technical priorities in agreement with internal direction from FBT technical teams.
Establish transfer and readiness scorecards to provide common understanding and alignment with supplier’s technical team.
Establish a change control process that is connected to FBT methodology/documentation repository with the correct steering council for change approval.
Provide updates on technical status and readiness of the supplier.
