The RL Service Team is looking for an Operations Intern to take on an exciting role in our Facebook office. Within this role you will work on independent projects oriented to drive business scale and the day-to-day activities of Post-Sales Service experience. You will have opportunities to work with vendors to understand and define strategic initiatives, create solutions for Service Operational challenges, and understand the impacts of analytics within Service Operations. These experiences will provide you with insights into managing Oculus and Portal products.
The RL team is developing the future of virtual reality and bringing products to consumers that transform entertainment and social experiences. Virtual reality’s potential to connect the world is immense—and we’re just getting started. The RL Service Operations team at Facebook is tasked with growing consumer adoption of Virtual Reality technology and with working with partners to develop this new exciting category.
Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long, and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Currently has on in the process of obtaining a Bachelor or Master’s degree within Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain with focus on Manufacturing, or related field.
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Interpersonal skills: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration.
Project management coursework or experience.
Experience using Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar, for analytics and reporting.
Your work will require you to successfully partner with a diverse set of team members spanning Service Operations, Go-to-Market, Legal, Service Engineering, and Forward Logistics. We are looking for a highly resourceful individual with passion for customers and self-motivation.
You will complete a key project to include project description, problem statement, supporting documentation, and key results.
Partner with third-party-vendors to deliver and review metrics related to Service.
Understand service processes and repair quality to drive best in class results.
Work with new products and help to define processes that will enable them in the future.
Communicate project specific goals, objectives, and results to Service Management and Operations leadership.
Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship.
Focused on a continual pursuit of ideation and game-changing service solutions.
