Facebook Reality Labs (FRL) is looking for an exceptional leader to take on the role of Head of Oculus(VR), Retail Channel Marketing for North America. This exciting and crucial new role will be responsible for driving and delivering our VR go to market channel strategy with North American retail partners like Best Buy, Walmart, Target and Amazon. Reporting to the Director of Retail Channel Marketing for North America, this experienced channel leader will be responsible for and oversee all marketing operations, including retail/channel marketing budgets, experiential programs, customer acquisition and retention, and measurement while continually improving our toolset and processes to meet our goals.
This role requires a seasoned leader that can work on multiple axis. 1. Recruit/coach a team of managers and individual contributors and cross functional teammates. 2. Building the future VR go-to-market channel strategy and organizational structure. 3. Leaning in heavily and working with cross-functional teams to align on strategy and long-term vision. 4. This leader will also dive into the hard work and roll up their sleeves in order to support their team's mission. 5. Finally, this leader will push the boundaries to deliver the best retail/consumer experience for our products and will live the values and culture that is Facebook.
Successful candidates at FRL lead with influence before title and communicate easily across functions and levels of the team. You will need to be at home in a fast-paced environment with democratized information and working across Facebook Product Management, Product Marketing, Marcom and our Design teams and at the same time, working with our customer’s cross functional leadership teams.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
10+ years’ experience in a Retail leadership channel marketing role. Candidates should have a demonstrable record of achievement and success with a consumer technology brand.
10+ years’ experience in building go-to-market strategy, planning and execution across online and traditional retail channels while managing large channel marketing budgets.
10+ years’ experience working directly with online retail partners with demonstrable knowledge of key advertising metrics and programs. CPC (Cost per Conversion), CPA (Cost per Acquisition), LTV (Lifetime Value) and ROAS (Return on Advertising Spend) as examples.
Experience managing multiple teams of individual contributors and managers, that deliver on several large-scale initiatives that have cross-functional or cross-regional impact.
Demonstrable experience developing and executing digital currency programs and initiatives with a leading technology brand.
Experience and clear understanding of how retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon and Target measure and manage their businesses. Gross Margin Return on Investment (GMROI), inventory turns, etc.
Demonstrated presentation skills both in person and through expression.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Economics.
Description(岗位职责)
Lead, recruit, develop and manage a team of channel marketing managers and individual contributors that work in concert with our strategic sales account managers in accomplishing channel specific goals for Facebook VR hardware and software.
Develop go-to-market North American retail channel marketing strategy in concert with our Oculus Category and Product Marketing teams. Focus on building programs that optimize awareness, trial and conversion and retention of VR intenders and Oculus users.
Lead & execute marketing and merchandising initiatives with NA retail partners within agreed upon budgets and KPIs.
Develop and deploy digital currency programs and initiatives with NA retail partners.
Continuously measure, manage and optimize marketing programs to drive efficiency recommending tools development and processes as necessary to achieve these goals.
Management and oversight of NA channel co-marketing budget, focusing on performance and delivering against agreed upon metrics.
Present key marketing programs to retailer partners, executives and business development teams.
Manage content & campaign activities across retailers ensuring our content meets brand standards and is in service of overall Facebook strategy.
Always be innovating and partnering. Identify new channel marketing opportunities in NA and in partnership with other FRL geographic leaders and position these opportunities for review to drive to a decision.
Coordinate and manage marketing elements of regularly scheduled marketing reviews e.g. (Quarterly Business Reviews) including regional share, context & performance across our business channels and partners.
Deliver and receive candid feedback on both sales/marketing metrics and personal performance.
