Summary(岗位介绍)
The Reality Labs Technology Engineering Camera Team seeks skilled and motivated research scientists with a background in camera systems and computational imaging algorithms. The primary role of this position is to conduct research & development on novel imaging technology (HW & SW) for Meta’s AR/VR products.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a(n) PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
Interpersonal experience: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration.
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Knowledge with one or more topics related with camera architecture, camera control algorithm or imaging pipeline.
Proven track record of achieving results as demonstrated by co-authored publications at conferences such as CVPR/ECCV/ICCV, ICCP, SIGGRAPH(Asia), NeurIPS/ICLR/ICML etc.
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
Description(岗位职责)
Research, develop and prototype advanced technologies in the domain of computational imaging solutions by leveraging innovative camera design, camera control algorithms and advanced CV/ML algorithms.
Publish research results that are both publishable and have direct impact on Meta products.
Mentor Interns, contribute to your peer’s projects and work closely with external academic groups to advanced research goals.
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Strong interest in theoretical and empirical research and for answering hard questions in research.
Experience communicating complex research in a clear, concise and actionable manner.
Experience (Intern or full time) with camera architecture, camera control algorithm and mobile imaging pipeline.
Experiences in one or more topics related with low level computer vision such as objectness/saliency, tracking/motion, segmentation/matting, and image restoration.
Familiarity with C/C++ or Python.
Experience working and communicating cross functionally in a team environment.
Proven track record of achieving significant results as demonstrated by first authored publications at top-tier conferences such as CVPR/ECCV/ICCV, ICCP, SIGGRAPH(Asia), NeurIPS/ICLR/ICML etc.
