The Mixed-Reality team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Cyber)witha strong understanding ofcurrent government and commercial analysis and assessment methods for cybersecurity test and evaluation for the purpose of leading Mixed Reality system through the successful completion of system lifecycle acquisition milestones.

The primary responsibility of this role will be toensure the delivery of a compliant, hardened, and cyber resilient Mixed Reality system. After which, the role will have responsibility for maintaining the system’s compliant and secure state during upgrades and planning for future capabilities. Initiative, creativity, reliability, and efficient teamwork will be required to successfully deliver innovative solutions and mitigations to address risk while maintaining mission functionality.

In this role you will workdirectly with our engineering product teams helping to ensure Mixed Reality systems are most capable in fulfilling their missions in a cyber-contested environment. You will work with the Army to identify current and upcoming ATO/Cybersecurity requirements that may be met through the integration of Microsoft, Government, or 3rd party controls and/or mitigations.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

RequiredQualifications

  • MS Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or relevant Engineering Degree
  • CISSP or equivalent certification
  • 5+ years’experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C, Python, Bash and PowerShell
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience of system internals and/or hardening in Windows and Linux operating systems, networks, and applications
  • Current active Top Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the research, development, test, and evaluation processes of U.S. Government organizations
  • Experience with the fielding of new technology to the Special Operations community
  • Experience performing/leading offensive security engagements
  • Demonstrated understanding of Cyber Security Risk Frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate complicated concepts and courses of action at the executive level
  • A strong technical background and solid foundation in software engineering and architecture design
  • Experience in delivering and bridging technical content to a non-technical audience
  • A strong technical background and solid foundation in software engineering and architecture design is preferred
  • The ability to think and act independently in a distributed work environment
  • Unwavering attention to detail
  • Demonstrated knowledge of common/emerging attack techniques

Security Clearance Requirements:

The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.

Description(岗位职责)

  • Workwith Mixed Reality Engineering teams, Government entities, and external security consultants to translate security policy into actionable designs to achieve compliance.
  • Review technical controlsin order to identify system requirements necessary to meet RMF goals.
  • Conduct detailed comprehensive analysis on system attack surfaces and identify containment and mitigation processes.
  • Continuously identify and confirm vulnerabilities byapplyinglow risk penetration testing methodologyto assess and mitigate risk to the system’s mission and data ahead of events required by the Acquisition Lifecycle.
  • Present findings throughwhite papers, risk analysis, presentations, and formal reports.
  • Work closely with development teams to define and adopt new solutions for secure development and operations of Mixed Reality system.
  • Perform research to stay current with offensive and defensive tools, tactics, and procedures which affect system services. This includes research of externally foundvulnerabilities, as well as proactive research on technology the system utilizes and depends on.
  • Serve asa subject matter expert who can partner and advise development teams and our government partners on detecting vulnerabilities, reducing attack surface, mitigating threats, and implementing security best practices.
  • Translate military operational and mission requirements into practical system conceptsand performance specifications.
