The Mixed Reality Team as part of the Experience + Devices organization at Microsoft is at the forefront of revolutionizing military training and operations. We are hiring an experienced Senior Program Manager to join a dynamic product team that works on cutting edge technology tailored to the real-world challenges soldiers face.
As a Senior Program Manager, you will drive program roadmaps/schedules, release management, and data strategy/data automation efforts within Mixed Reality’s Program Management Office (PMO) to drive program clarity across the organization for all programs.

Qualifications(岗位要求)
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in program management, engineering, or product development with experience in digital data content management
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects within an engineering environment with emphasis on program schedules, release management and data reporting.
- 2+ years’ experience communicating across disciplines with the ability to integrate information from multiple teams, escalating issues at the right time/level and bringing teams together to resolve issues productively.

- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience with managing program schedules with proficiency in using MS Project schedule and other Roadmap and Schedule planning tools.
- 2+ years of experience in data automation frameworks or infrastructure.
- Experience with release management either via direct implementation/execution or via participating in this area as part of the product development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to identify problem areas, distill data, establish facts, and drive issues to closure across complex business, program, and customer needs. Experience with tools like ADO, PowerBI dashboards and data analysis / data mining is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience working in Augmented/Virtual Reality.
Content Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.

Description(岗位职责)
- Be a key part of the program management effort, working across multiple teams and disciplines from product to engineering to test & quality to plan, create, maintain, and report against program schedules.
- Define, develop, and contribute to the overall data strategy for Mixed RealityPMO by identifying data sources working with the data owners to understand/leverage the data as needed and conduct data analysis using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques.
- Design/prototype/build dashboards to enable real-time monitoring of product/initiative/business health.
- Work with engineers to ensure on-time delivery of key commitments to internal partners and customers, including high-level roadmap planning to detailed schedule planning & tracking.
- Implement and drive the release management of products (including hardware and software) for multiple programs.
- Serve as a primary interface between contracting, engineering, and test & quality teams, ensuring the right release plans are in place to meet committed objectives and deliver quality-driven product iterations at major milestones.
- Establish effective methods for meeting goals by leveraging existing tools and processes and developing plans where gaps may exist.
- Identify areas of concern during both the planning and execution phase to pro-actively document program risks so that risk mitigation plans can be put in place to meet the end goal of an on-time and at-quality product delivery.
- Leverage understanding of the product development lifecycle and the program rhythm of business to manage work in a streamlined fashion with the goal to reduce manual overhead and adopt tools for structure and automation.
