The silicon computing development team is seeking passionate, driven, and intellectually curious computer/electrical engineers to deliver premium-quality designs once considered impossible. Our team is involved in numerous projects within Microsoft developing custom silicon for a diverse set of systems ranging from traditional computing solutions to artificial intelligence and augmented reality. We are responsible for delivering cutting-edge, custom CPU and SoC designs that can perform complex and high-performance functions in an extremely efficient manner.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
- 10+ years of experience in Developing Integrated Circuits (pre-silicon, first silicon bring-up, new product introduction).
- 10+ years of experience in product and test engineering, specialize insilicon debug or FA/FI
- 5+ years of experience pathfinding debug approaches for complex state-of-the-art SoC in advance process nodes
- Proven debug track record on complex SoC
- Experience defining and coding debug tools
- Strong system-level debuggers with a background on debug tools and enough ATE exposure will be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with System-level debug and correlation to ATE
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Experience in
- Leading cross functional teams and understands program/project management.
- Managing supply chain, vendors / partners, and Integrated Circuit production.
- Experience in system/customer requirements gathering and interfacing.
- Strong probability and statistics background including DOE’s.
- Knowledgeable in DFT and DFM techniques.
- Good understanding of bring-up/debug, characterization/manufacturing test (on ATEs).
- Ability to drive development and bring up test content on mixed signal IP’s is a plus.
- Device physics background.
- Trusted Computer architecture fundamentals/background
- Great unit/integration testing skills
- Fantastic Linux skills
- Background in debugging and optimizingsoftware

- The candidate will alsobe responsible forroot-causeofkey product issues, manufacturing blockers and translate them into corrective actions in silicon and/or the MFG flow
- Successful candidates have deep understandingand experience debugging product issues onATE andusing analytical equipment to isolate failures
- Deep understanding of best-in class silicon debug tools and methodologies is a must
- Successful candidates should have strong project leadership skills to manage external vendors, drive cross functional teams and drive sub-project as part of larger development programs
