The Meta Reality Labs Category Sales organization leads Go to Channel - distribution strategy and Sales performance growth & management.

The Category Sales team influences the early stage of product development & capabilities required to successfully launch and grow the category within sales channels. It creates go-to channel plans, manages sales performance & growth and provides directions for future investments related to distribution.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Category Launch Manager to join our consumer electronics sales Wearables team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and aligning the distribution strategy for our upcoming portfolio of products in the Wearable category. The job will also require the candidate to partner cross functionally with PMM, PM and Sales functions to ensure launch moment readiness, kicking off sales motion and supporting long lead partner sell-in. To be successful, the candidate will bring a combination of strategic vision, communication skills, collaborative mindset, and product launch experience; having worked in highly cross-functional, dynamic environments built to move fast.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

5+ years of experience in launching products in the capacity of a Product manager or Product marketing manager or Sales/Category management in the consumer electronics industry.

Bachelor's degree in Business,Engineering, Marketing, or related field.

Experience managing launch moments with analytical skills for Consumer electronic devices.

Experience with consumer research and proficiently using data and insights to inform product, Go To Market and Go to Channel strategy.

Relationship-building skills and experience working with internal and external partners.

Experience in conducting path to purchase, sales competitive analysis and identifying opportunities for differentiation.

Experience presenting and experience influencing and persuading stakeholders.

Description(岗位职责)

Define and align on the sales distribution strategy by analyzing existing portfolio performance, monitoring competitive activity, analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for differentiation for the upcoming product.

Conduct path to purchase analysis by understanding customer behavior, identifying key touch points, and optimizing the customer journey.

Ensure launch moment readiness by preparing sales teams, developing and executing launch plans, and ensuring all necessary resources are in place.

Align and define Lifetime Goals of the product and its supporting budget to drive towards goals.

Manage long lead partner sell-in by building relationships, creating joint business plans, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Develop and execute customer feedback management and prioritization strategies to ensure customer needs are met and feedback is incorporated into product development.

Additional Requirements(额外要求)

Masters Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.

10+ years of experience in consumer electronics with a demonstrated interest in new and emerging tech.

Experience in augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, wearable devices, or mobile devices.
