Meta Reality Lab is the world leader in the design of virtual and augmented reality systems. The display hardware engineering team focuses on moving the state-of-art display and optics technologies forward for Meta products, which gives people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. The team is looking for an experienced and self-motivated engineering manager to lead and build one of the best display engineering teams in the world. You will be responsible for the investigation, development, qualification, and implementation of leading-edge display mechanical design, module process and integration engineering for our growing MR hardware products. You will lead a close-knit group of experts working on display component design, validation and system integration, and manage necessary activities to implement the custom and novel component technologies into final products. Your work will change the performance and experience of MR hardware through a close collaboration with both internal and external partners.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
6+ Years of display engineering work experience.
2+ years of engineering management experience.
Track of record on development and implementation of innovative LCD, AMOLED or other display solutions for consumer electronics.
Proven communication skills and cross-functional teamwork skills.
Description（岗位职责）
Lead, mentor, and grow a world class display mechanical integration team.
Manage the execution of display mechanical design, validation, product implementation and system integration activities.
Manage display module process development of complex manufacturing practices including materials, process optimization, equipment, metrology and system design.
Collaborate with cross functional teams and external display partners to develop and deliver optimized display modules to meet product and yield goals and seamless product integration.
Develop new component technologies and define the roadmap for our growing hardware product lines.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
In-depth understanding of display technologies, display module, mechanical design, components, manufacturing process, and system integration.
Understanding and experience with simulation and data analysis, trade-off analysis, DOE/DFM/FMEA, manufacturing techniques, and prototyping.
Direct working experience with display vendors and ecosystem partners.
Track record of building/managing a top performance engineering organization.
MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or related field and/or equivalent experience.
