Summary(岗位介绍)

The Metaverse Developer Product Marketing team is seeking an individual who is passionate about working with developers to help them build innovative Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) games and content experiences on Meta Quest platforms. This position will join a team responsible for bringing developer products in VR/MR to market, and will work closely with Product Management, Integrated Marketing, Data Science, Developers and Developer relations teams. Our team is focused on all stages of product marketing – starting with the inbound phase of research, developer insights and the strategy that informs product development, all the way to outbound marketing, and driving in-market adoption of products and services. You will influence product development and roadmaps, create go-to-market plans, support in-market growth and grow the adoption of our products. This position plays an important role in shaping the future direction of the VR/MR developer platform and products.

The ideal candidate can effectively be both strategic and execution-oriented, and is analytical and creative. They are good at building consensus and influencing others through deep understanding of the product and business needs. They are able to build high-level strategy that maps to developer journey, bring insights to shape product roadmap, build go-to-market plans and drive execution by working with internal stakeholders.They have a passion for working with developers and VR, as well as experience launching and growing adoption of software platforms/ products.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

5+ years of product marketing or strategy experience with developer/software products, and a demonstrated interest in tech and content.

Experience with developer research and experience using data and insights to inform product and GTM strategy

Experience working in a cross-functional capacity within a fast-paced, changing environment across functions (e.g., creative teams, legal, policy, marketing, developer relations, data science).

Experience creating go-to-market documents, including defining audience, positioning, value proposition and success metrics.

Description(岗位职责)

Influence product strategy and roadmap with an understanding of developer, market insights, and business objectives.

Develop go-to-market strategies for developer products, working cross functionally with product, developer relations, and integrated marketing teams to deliver a plan that is grounded in the developer journey framework, dev insights, business goals, and market dynamics.

Lead ecosystem growth initiatives for in-market developer products and services, working with cross functional partners to meet acquisition and engagement goals.

Provide thought leadership to influence decisions and tradeoffs related to short and long term VR developer strategy.

Balance of creative and analytical thinking, putting forth best-in-class execution within a measurable and data-driven framework.
