At Meta Reality Labs, we are developing the future of Portal, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) products. As a Display Engineer, you will be a member of our RL Hardware development Engineering organization, taking a lead in display panel optical design/process to set the technical goals, be the point of contact and interface to the product development team, lead the development of leading-edge technologies and designs, and work with the current and evolving ecosystem to provide differentiating capabilities to our HW platforms. You will be part of a group of highly talented engineers at the forefront of innovation for our VR products.
This role is based in our office in Seoul- Korea.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS/ MS degree in Optical, Photonics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field with 7+ years of experience or equivalent industry work experience
Domain expertise and experience in at least one of the following ares: A) Display front end processing, LCD Panel design, LC panel fabrication process, and OLED process B) Display optical engineering and validation C) Display failure mode effect analysis (DFMEA)
Experience in design DOE design, data analysis, yield improvement, root cause investigation, FACA, quality control
Effective communication skills and cross-functional teamwork skills
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in a similar position
Description（岗位职责）
Lead, mentor, and grow a world class vendor facing display engineering team
Work closely with cross functional teams and external display partners to develop the future of display technologies, set up manufacturing processes and support activities across Asia
Collaborating with internal and external partners, choose appropriate technology nodes, develop specialty processes, and customize pixel design
Together with vendors and cross functional teams, debug and fix process or device issues, implement inline, offline monitoring, improve reliability and yield
Deliver and achieve target milestones to meet fast paced product development schedule
Design and integrate new display technologies into products from the prototype phase to mass production
Travel up to 30% internationally
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience in working directly with mainstream AMLCD or AMOLED vendors
Knowledge of display metrology
Good project and team management experience
Experience in working with display vendors
Track-record of ownership in designing and delivering consumer products
