We are seeking an innovative Optical Test Engineer with experience developing, deploying, analyzing, and supporting complex camera/display optical test and calibration systems for mass-production consumer electronics. This is a full-time position and requires a master’s level degree in optical engineering, electrical engineering, or related degree and relevant experience. Successful candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic cross-functional team, and exhibit excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Masters degree in interdisciplinary field covering Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related fields
5+ years experience working within consumer electronics industry
5+ years experience building/deploying automated test equipment for mass production
3+ years coding experience in MATLAB or Python
3+ years experience testing display or camera systems
5+ years experience with optical technologies including imaging, lighting and cameras
5+ years experience with statistical data analysis methods and tools including GR&R, complex sensitivity and correlation studies
Well-developed presentation/communication skills including technical information analysis and project planning
Experience building/driving/supporting MP builds of automated calibration and test equipment
Background managing cross-functional partners and outside vendors, defining SOWs, R&Rs
Demonstrated experience successfully delivering full production-scale test systems at scale
Description（岗位职责）
Develop/deploy/support testing and metrology methods, algorithms, and stations for display calibration
Source and qualify appropriate opto-mechanical components and instruments. Build and optimize image capture and calibration tools for fully automated system calibrations
Specify test equipment and tools for optical measurements of components, sub-assemblies and systems in a fabrication facility
Drive vendors and partners to develop and optimize test methods, tools, and techniques
Collect and analyze data to validate, diagnose, and optimize approaches
Travel within Asia for factory testing, 15% travel to US/Europe
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
In-depth knowledge of image quality/MTF display test and calibration methods, algorithms, and associated test optics
Experience working with station assemblies in SolidWorks
Experience with optical gratings, waveguides, high-resolution/complex AR/VR display systems
Ability to perform complex optical calculations / simulations to guide RCA and process/design improvements
