The MFG Data SW Development Engineer is part of the Manufacturing Infrastructure, Data and AI Systems team (MIDAS). As a Data software engineer, you will develop software solutions that will collect, store, transform, and visualize manufacturing data including applied AI for manufacturing systems. The MIDAS team is chartered with driving 10X efficiency improvements in connecting our users to relevant data insights that enable oversight that help to drive corrective actions to product design, components, assembly, and test from component, module, SMT and FATP production. This role, although challenging, will leverage a diverse skill set and ability to work with the natural ambiguity associated with innovation.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
High degree of proficiency in C, C++, Java, Python & React js
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + 6 years of related experience in software development leveraging AI/ML engines.
Knowledge developing solutions in both Linux and Windows environments.
Experience developing scalable solutions in AWS environments
Experience designing and executing development projects with a design of experiment approach (DOE) to service, troubleshoot, and solve engineering problems
Description（岗位职责）
Responsible for driving applied AI/ML that is destined to transform how we scale AI into product manufacturing for AOI test stations.
Responsible for development of software solutions to provide image analysis metrics and measurements.
Development of software applications that leverage AI/ML to generate manufacturing specific models for classification and defect identification.
Responsible for collecting user requirements and implementing automated workflows that intake data, enable simplified classification and annotation, generate models for inference, and deployment pipelines to update factory operations.
Work closely with other functional groups (TPMs, Electrical Engineering, software/firmware Engineering) clearly define user requirements for AI/ML and AOI test stations..
Domestic and International travel required: up to 20%
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Masters degree in software / AI related discipline (Computer science, Mathematics, etc…)
10 years of related experience in manufacturing test development, data collection, transformation, and visualization.
