Summary(岗位介绍)

We are currently seeking innovative and self-motivated technical leaders who work at the intersection of computer vision and 3D reconstruction for designing systems to push the limits of current 3D reconstruction algorithms towards highly accurate on-device solutions. An ideal candidate would come with an advanced knowledge in computer vision, 3D geometry and/or graphics to develop systems for reconstruction, collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive appropriate data-collection, and validate the system against the ground-truth. The candidate should excel at working in a dynamic cross-functional environment with strong communication skills.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.

Ph.D. degree or equivalent experience in the field of Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision/Graphics, or a similar field.

7+ years of experience, including PhD research with 2+ years of industry research experience working in computer vision, stereo reconstruction, graphics and/or advanced optimization techniques.

Experience with C++ and Python.

Experience working on novel computer-vision problems exhibited in the form of at least one first-author publication in conferences/journals such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, SIGGRAPH, NeurIPS and similar venues.

Description(岗位职责)

Develop computer-vision systems for 3D reconstruction from monocular photos/videos with and without markers.

Develop novel marker-designs to satisfy form-factor and accuracy requirements.

Lead the required data-collection, modeling, development, validation and deployment with cross-functional collaborations.

Implement the system in C++ or Python.

Work closely with System Architects to enable new CV use cases.

Work with hardware engineers and firmware teams to perform early prototyping.

Algorithmic modeling of machine learning workloads.

Present regularly to large cross-functional teams and communicate progress.

Engage the wider academic community to pursue research in this direction through publications and/or workshop/challenge/tutorial organization top-tier conferences.

Additional Requirements(额外要求)

Experience in hardware design flows for display units.

Experience with ML, graphics or computer vision accelerator.

Experience with 3D reconstruction from depth maps and/or photos.

Experience with 3D computer vision, mesh/point-cloud processing, 3D deep-sensing, stereo matching, feature detection, and camera calibration.

Experience with leading project development.

Experience with cross functional team communication and collaboration.
