Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space. It will allow us to do the things we love in ways never before possible — all while staying connected to the people around us.
The Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking for a motivated Software Tools Engineer who uses their expertise to improve team processes, find and fix operational pain-points, and propel the team’s capacity for technical automation among the variety of systems we use to collect, annotate, and collaborate with data. This role operates in lockstep with both research and user-study scientists to run experiments that help Apple shape the future of human-computer interaction.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Industry experience building end-to-end internal tools with a full-stack focus (database, logic, user interface, deployment).
Proficient in Python
Proficient in at least one front-end technology: Javascript, Swift, or Objective-C.
Competent in at least one modern web framework such as React or Angular.
Database creation and administration with a history of implementing best-practices for privacy-centric storage.
Experience setting up, maintaining, and interfacing with cloud infrastructure and other DevOps fundamentals.
Experience writing apps or scripts to mutate data between formats, including audio and video.
(Preferred) An understanding of machine learning & data science fundamentals including the creation of training, validation, and testing datasets.

You’ll be working on research that powers delightful user experiences across a range of use-cases, crafting ideas that turn science fiction into reality. We are looking for an experienced, versatile individual contributor with the following responsibilities: crafting full-stack tools from database to user interface, automating the secure transfer of data between local and cloud services, and optimizing the technical processes our scientists, engineers, and operations teams use to collect, visualize, annotate, and archive data. Additionally, you will work cross functionally with other teams at Apple, to ensure our tools and systems integrate seamlessly.
