Our XR Tech organization in Tel Aviv is focused on research and development of machine perception technologies from early concepts to production level across all of Meta’s RL products and surfaces including AR/VR products and Family of Apps (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp). We develop core capabilities across a range of product domains including mixed reality, scene and object understanding, world-scale mapping, avatars, AR/VR remote presence / calling, digital fashion, AR Sharing, and more.
We are looking for software engineering candidates who share a passion for tackling complexity and building the software to enable meaningful AR/VR experiences.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
B.S. Computer Science or related technical field
Track record of setting technical direction for a team, driving consensus and successful cross-functional partnerships
Experience with operating system internals, filesystems, programming language design, compilers
3+ years relevant coding experience in C, C++ or other relevant coding languages
Description（岗位职责）
Design core, backend software components and data pipeline
Code using primarily C/C++ and Python
Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa
Conduct design and code reviews
Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience with 3D computer vision or computer graphics
Experience building software that processes sensor data and runs real-time on in a compute constrained platform
