Facebook Reality Labs Research is looking for upcoming scientists and researchers with an interest in algorithm development and hardware accelerators for image processing, machine learning, and computer vision applications, new sensing and computing architectures, and algorithm/hardware co-design.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of lab experience carrying out independent research.
Programming and simulation experience with languages such as C/C++ or Python.
Experience developing hardware using Verilog or high-level synthesis (HLS).
Experience with computer architecture and the HW/SW boundary.
Interpersonal skills: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration.
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Description(岗位职责)
Prototyping, building, and characterizing experimental systems and custom hardware on ASICs and FPGAs.
Design and execution of algorithm optimization and/or hardware architecture design, including algorithm/hardware co-design.
Collaboration with and support of other researchers across various disciplines.
Communication of research agenda, progress, and results.
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Experience taping out and characterizing ASICs.
Experience in system prototyping using FPGAs.
Experience working in machine learning frameworks PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Experience in operating systems, drivers, and firmware development.
Experience in ASIC development using tools such as Synopsys Design Compiler, IC Compiler, or Cadence Innovus.
Demonstrated experience via an internship, work/research experience, or widely used contributions to open source projects.
Track record of publications with cutting edge research results at conferences and journals such as ISCA, ASPLOS, CVPR, ECCV, SIGGRAPH.
Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op.
