We are building a team of world-class experts developing and shipping products at the intersection of consumer electronics, luxury goods, and high fashion. Our team will be responsible for taking the breakthrough design of the Ray-Ban Stories glasses and delivering brand specific variants to market, at scale. Based in Milan, the Smart Glasses Italy Design Center will actively participate in concept development, design ideation, and setting product architecture. From there, our team is tasked with executing and validating the range of designs that we develop with our partners in a manner that is consistent with Meta’s culture of end-to-end ownership
We’re seeking an innovative Systems Integration Lead who has experience shipping portable electronic products and thrives working in fast-paced, ambiguous spaces. The ideal candidate is someone who can dive deep into the details while also operating at a higher level of abstraction. They will bring strong technical and communication skills and be comfortable working with a highly cross-functional team of engineers, product managers and program management to define experiences, resolve issues and deliver solutions. While they don’t need to be technically strong across all engineering fields, they need to be comfortable driving discussions and solutions at the intersection of electrical, mechanical, software, and validation engineering disciplines. They will be required to develop a deep understanding of our partners’ needs and help the larger team to provide solutions that are inclusive of them. They will be expected to bring broad experience in the processes for product development and manufacturing, to aid the team in navigating the trade-offs between robust design, product cost, and time to market. Additionally, they will be expected to help build and mentor our fledgling team of engineers as we look to break new ground in the area of high fashion smart glasses.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related disciplines.
6+ years experience in product development for consumer electronics or similar industry.
Clear understanding of product development process and validation models.
Experience working with one or more of these technologies: Sensors, Camera, Audio, Display, Power, Thermals, Battery
Description（岗位职责）
Lead the development of Functional Requirements Document (FRD) by working closely with product owners.
Perform systems integration studies, trade-off analysis, and present the solutions space to program stakeholders in a concise manner.
Collaborate with EE, ME, Sensors, Optics, Battery, RF, Thermals, Power, Audio, Firmware, and Product Management teams to develop Engineering Requirement Specifications (ERS).
Develop system characterization methods to establish and verify system specifications and KPIs.
Collaborate with test and manufacturing partners to develop validation frameworks, drive test ERS and execution.
Define and implement integration processes to improve operational efficiency.
Inform senior leadership on product risks via regular updates, provide end to end traceability for product maturity at program milestones.
Ability to lead cross-functional project with strong communication and documentation skills.
Experience working with JIRA, Confluence or similar tools for project management.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
10+ Years of experience working on high volume portable electronics products.
MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related disciplines.
Experience with debug, FA and root cause analysis of complex HW systems.
Experience aligning internal and external stakeholders in component and system evaluations, decisions and trade-offs.
Experience in scripting or data analysis with Python, Matlab or similar tools.
