FOR AUTUMN 2023
The Reality Labs (RL) Sensor team is developing products to contribute to the development of augmented and virtual reality. Amongst other focus areas, the group specializes in research and implementation of biosensors with an eye towards driving the state of the art. We are looking for intern candidates with experience in sensor system design and implementation to collaborate with our team in pursuit of novel sensing technologies.
Our internships are twelve (12) to twenty four (24) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the early autumn.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD degree in the field of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
2+ years experience with implementation, data acquisition, and algorithms for biosensing systems as demonstrated in projects or publications
2+ years experience with coding signal processing and feature algorithms in Python, Matlab, C++, or similar
Experience with biosensing modalities such as PPG, ECG, EDA, or similar
Interpersonal experience: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Description（岗位职责）
Design experimental protocols, and analyze data from biosensing systems
Implement and validate algorithms based on time-series sensor data
Communicate and present results to a wide range of audiences
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience designing small user studies and analyzing results
Experience with classical or ML algorithms for health/wellness features
Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op
