At Meta, we’re developing the future of AR/VR. As a member of the Optical Display Products operations team, your job will be to drive the development and deployment of a high-volume, manufacturing-friendly process meeting metrics on safety, cost, quality and run rate to guide MicroLED devices from prototype development to mass production. You will work closely with internal research teams, cross functional partners, external partners and potential MP process and equipment vendors. You will help define requirements and deliverables for the transfer of New Technology Introduction (NTI) to high volume manufacturing for our MicroLED displays. Ideal team members are adaptable and resilient, eager to approach unfamiliar problems with curiosity and tenacity, and able to find ways to help our research teams be more efficient while keeping an eye on the long-term goal of mass production. The ideal candidate will have versatile, cross-disciplinary experience in semiconductor fabrication in cleanroom environments with an emphasis on yield engineering, process module integration, device analysis and characterization, and process control.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Bachelor degree or higher in Materials/Optics/Physics/EE/ME or related field OR equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in fabrication and process integration of optoelectronic devices such as red, green or blue LEDs or lasers.
3+ years of experience in technology transfer and ramp to high-volume manufacturing
2+ years of hands on experience with statistical process control
1+ years of experience analyzing large data sets, specifically in the support of yield analysis and management
1+ years of experience with defect failure analysis and resolution
Description(岗位职责)
Provide end-to-end ownership through the production phases of red, green, and blue LEDs (wafer/epitaxy, fabrication processes).
Define and own key performance indicators (Yield, CPK, Run Rate, Cost) in support of new product development process (Stage Gate/ECs)
Driving improvement action plans if such actual performance is not meeting key performance indicator targets.
Perform hands-on process and yield analysis towards constructing and executing along a Yield Roadmap covering both epitaxy and wafer fab workstreams to sustain and improve fabrication of MicroED-based devices.
Champion robust design transfer strategy from early development throughout product commercialization phases to ensure scalability from day 1 of commercial launch
Monitor charts and improve statistical process control procedures, including database design and data input scripting.
Investigate the root cause of technical issues, contain problems, and implement corrective action to resolve them.
Develop a manufacturing roadmap that aligns with product and technology evolution.
Utilize Lean and Six-Sigma methodologies
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Experience with epitaxy and wafer fab LED manufacturing techniques and processes.
Experience with phosphide/arsenide and/or nitride material systems
Experience with heterogeneous integration Knowledge of Si CMOS
Design and processes and integration with photonics devices
Knowledge of state-of-the-art semiconductor equipment, processes, and materials
Proficiency in structured technical problem solving techniques and methodology.
Six Sigma certification and/or training (DMAIC or DFSS)
