In Apple’s Platform Architecture team, we are looking for a forward-thinking Power Delivery Engineer to work on our next generation SoC power solutions. In this highly visible role, you will be working with engineers across the company to design and deliver power solutions that demonstrate our best ideas across the full spectrum of Apple products.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

Familiarity with modern mobile or desktop SoC power delivery; power state management, power and performance tradeoffs, throttling techniques, thermal constraints, etc.

Experience working with PMICs or power converters for SoCs. Familiar with VR specifications and tradeoffs and impact to SoC performance, battery life and thermals.

Fundamental understanding of various power delivery components, multiphase buck & boost converters, PMICs, LDOs, charge pumps, ADCs & DACs, etc.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical.

B.S. and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.

Description(岗位职责)

As the SoC Power Delivery Engineer, you will:

Work to develop and integrate power delivery solutions for next generation Apple SoCs. Work across Apple with product teams, power delivery architects and SoC engineering teams. Help collect and analyze workload power telemetry data to inform architectural decisions. Author SoC power delivery requirements and oversee cross-team reviews. Work with internal and external design teams to build next generation power delivery solutions for Apple SoCs.
