Summary（岗位介绍）
As an Embedded Software Engineering Manager at Reality Labs (RL), you will lead, manage, and inspire engineering teams developing algorithms and software for Smart Glass and Smart Interaction Devices.
Software for RL spans multiple target classes, requires deep collaboration across engineering disciplines and the full software stack, and directly impacts user immersion. You’ll guide architecture and delivery of highly performant and reliable software/algorithm across multiple platforms and product lines. The ideal candidate will have deep DSP and embedded system technical knowledge along with a focus on building top teams who deliver great consumer products focused on incredible customer experiences.
We are seeking an Engineering Manager who can help us build out and manage a new team focused on senso algorithm development and deployment for multiple products. A successful candidate will be able to bridge the gap between software teams, hardware teams, as well as other cross functional partners to identify opportunities to measure, monitor, and improve the power profile of our current product, as well as influence the design of future products.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams. This includes experience managing through others, such as tech leads or sub managers
Proven track record of building and supporting cross-functional teams
Experience hiring and mentoring junior and senior engineers across multiple disciplines and domains
Experience initiating and driving complex projects to completion with minimal guidance
Experience communicating strategy, tactics, and decisions across the organization
Experience roadmapping towards key performance metrics in short, medium, and long term windows
Experience influencing and/or enforcing best practices in partner teams
3+ years experience in sensor algorithm development and shipping on commercial devices. The candidate should have intricate knowledge and experience of the full algorithm development lifecycle – data collection, analysis, modeling, evaluation and implementation

Build and retain a world-class algorithm and software engineering team through recruitment, mentorship, guidance, and career development
Define and deliver on project roadmap and incorporate both strategic and tactical goals to ensure product success, in the short, medium, and long term
Work cross-functionally with highly technical product management, software, and hardware teams
Bring strong technical guidance and leadership from past experiences around the entire motion algorithm development lifecycle
Support a culture of innovation to guide your team through identifying and delivering creative projects that meaningfully impact our power profile
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience with consumer hardware development and deployment
Experience with embedded systems and performance, especially battery constrained devices
Experience working with RTOS/Linux/Android
Experience with data pipelines, dashboards, and monitoring/reporting tools
Experience sourcing and partnering with external vendors
