Our group of pioneers is looking for a Product Design Manager to inspire and grow designers across two design teams on a number of innovation products. All the products center on the opportunity to optimize the way people work in the physical places of a business.
The first app, Dynamics 365 Connected Store, is looking to transform the modern physical retail workplace. Our mission is to bring the same data-driven decision making enabled in online retail experiences, to physical stores. We use emerging technologies – including computer vision, IoT, and machine learning – to augment and improve the professional lives of retailers and their shoppers around the world. Intuitive experiences, built on an AI driven insights engine, will allow sensors to become the eyes and ears of the modern physical retail store. This allows retailers to enhance shopper experiences, empower their floor associates and operate more effectively. All backed by a paramount focus on Shopper privacy and AI ethics.
The other two are Mixed Reality Applications. Mixed Reality is predicted to shape the way people will work and our mission here is to build tool grade innovative software to be used daily in the modern workplace. We are engaged with first line workers to develop heads up and hands free experiences that delivers the knowledge in context they need to tackle new challenges.
We have two in-market apps that are being deployed by some of the world’s top companies. Guides | Microsoft Dynamics 365 with easy to author step-by-step holographic instructions and Remote Assist | Microsoft Dynamics 365 which lets a remote expert see through the eyes of a worker and annotate into their view to help them solve problems.
Our team uses deep customer research, observation and understanding paired with design thinking to concept, build, and ship products that will improve the way people get work done each day and help them break free from the limits of our current work environments.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
You’re an experienced and well-rounded individual who knows how to grow designers. You possess the desire to create delightful, sophisticated and efficient user experiences. You are driven by curiosity and are an active learner. You know the story of your product and features and can champion the vision through external teams.
- 5+ years of combined shipping user focused products, or relevant agency-side experience.
- 5+ years of managing and growing designers and artists from early in career to leadership positions
- A background in 3D, Mixed Reality, AI, and/or Computer Vision is a plus
- ability to create UX strategies and solutions from the customer point of view
- You have a passion for thinking of E2E product experience, inclusive of external marketing and internal communication strategies
- Demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly in a new space
- Team collaborator who delivers highly usable and compelling customer experiences
- Disciplined user of research data and insights to drive decisions and measure success
- Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with a bias toward action
- Experience with responsive design and cross-device interfaces/inputs from mobile, tablet, desktop.
- Strong interest in design and technology trends, with an eye toward the future

An ideal candidate will have worked on early-stage products, is proficient in both visual and interaction design, and is comfortable influencing across multiple disciplines. You will work closely and in partnership with teams in our business applications eco-system including developer, science, and PM teams to build the future of how we work. You will be part of product leadership team building innovative products from scratch – collaborating with developers, technical artists, UX designers, copywriters, project managers, data scientists and marketing teams.
