At Meta, we’re developing the future of AR/VR displays. As Development Line Operations lead, your job will be in oversight of implementation of a manufacturing process for future LED components for AR, taking it from research to production. You will work closely with internal research teams and external partners and vendors. You will help define requirements and deliverables, schedule and track project progress. To be successful, you will eliminate barriers to the team’s success and clearly communicate progress to all stakeholders. Ideal candidates are adaptable and resilient, eager to approach unfamiliar problems with curiosity and tenacity, and able to cope with the ambiguity of immature processes. This is a full time senior engineering position located within our partner’s facility.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
First degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering or Nano materials or related subject, or equivalent experience
Semiconductor process or equipment engineering background
Proven record of operational improvements in production facilities, ideally in a senior engineering or program leadership role in quality or operations
Proven record of successful interaction with supply chain partners in developing new technology and products
Description（岗位职责）
Implementing and overseeing Meta’s LED development and manufacturing processes in our partner’s facility in Plymouth, Devon, UK.
Driving improvement of process development engineering work in our partner facility with respect to process tool performance, quality and cycle time
Building and managing project plans and small teams at tool and module level
Carrying out risk assessment and mitigation with the partner
Managing internal and external partners to specify, install & ramp materials, processes and tools for use in the facility
Collaborating at a strategic level with Meta’s partner to align and deliver on shared goals and priorities
Deputise for Meta Site Lead as needed
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Subject matter expert in industrial semiconductor engineering or manufacturing/ or experience in blue, green or red LED process development and integration
Experience in working as an assignee in a remote partner location
Experience in implementing quality improvement programs in a manufacturing line
