Meta Reality Labs Display and Optics Group is seeking a capable and dynamic semiconductor Equipment Engineer to join our Dev/Pilot Cleanroom facility. Your job will be to support a world-class operation tasked with developing and scaling segment defining components. You will be responsible for executional aspects of a Pilot-like facility ensuring the teams have the resources and support available to meet product milestone objectives and support product development.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience on wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment, adhering to industry safety and TPM best practices, along with deep tool: process capability optimization.
You will be an individual contributor reporting to an equipment engineering team. This position requires wearing a respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE) for possible work handling hazardous materials. Candidates must adhere to all company safety protocols. This position requires supporting equipment maintenance.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS degree or higher in engineering, physics or chemistry, or equivalent technical education
Minimum of 5 years experience working in a semiconductor related fab within an Equipment Engineering role
Direct experience on wafer fabrication equipment and wafer fabrication process capability in a cleanroom environment
Mechanical, electronic, and troubleshooting skills
Basic familiarity of MS Office programs
Experience with chemical handing & disposal protocols
Candidate experience navigating and operating computers
Proven understanding of high vacuum theory and equipment maintenance
Experience working under minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment
Experience being flexible to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
Proven hands-on experience in participation and sense of ownership
Description（岗位职责）
Ownership of a specific wafer fab or processing equipment within a sector or sectors for sustainment of daily operations and development activity
Responsible for establishing standards for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wafer fabrication and process equipment, along with periodic support of the maintenance team
Partner with process and integration engineering to drive capability development, baseline and CIP for key tools within process flows
Work closely with leadership, peers, operators, and engineering teams to deeply understand root cause of failure and use those learnings to continuously improve equipment availability to meet production goals
Work with vendors, field service and technical representatives, which may include attendance in classes, seminars, vendor training
Work closely with team leadership to prioritize job tasks
Attend shift pass-down meetings and communicate daily activities
Train and support process engineers and technicians
Document all work performed on equipment
Use metrics (Availability, MTBF, SPC) to drive improvement activities on hardware, maintenance, and overall operation based on above subject matter expertise and collaborative engineering. Drive Uptime KPI for tools owned
