The Sensors and Systems Research (SSR) team’s goal is to create ultra low power and lightweight photon-to-inference pipelines that enable all-day, always-on machine perception. As a Research Engineer in SSR, you’ll partner with expert research scientists, electrical engineers, silicon engineers and other brilliant minds to build novel prototypes integrated with advanced AR/VR headsets. You’ll foster scientific explorations and generate viable paths to the consumer products that will connect people in meaningful ways for decades to come. You’ll work on a wide range of technology, from sensor design, bring up, validation to standing up prototypes and system level demonstration and exploration. Qualifications（岗位要求）
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in the field of image sensors, ISP development
5+ years of experience with image sensor performance evaluation, functional validation and system prototyping
ASIC design experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog, C/C++
Simulation and modeling experience with scripting language such as Python, MATLAB
Description（岗位职责）
Participate new custom sensor and sensing modality conceptualization and specification formulation process with other research scientists, sensor architects and system architects
Lead integrating custom-designed image sensor bring up, validation, calibration, and system prototyping
ISP algorithm development and implementation for custom-designed image sensors
Evaluating image sensor’s impact on AR/VR system performance
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience with calibrating HDR image sensors
Experience with MIPI C/D PHY and I3C
Experience with supporting sensor application developments from cross-functional teams
Experience with image sensor feature/function design and implementation
